FATAL AUTO ACCIDENT, SR 44 AND SAMSULA DRIVE POI IMAGES
I have heard that a person or people objected to the three images that had been posted in this section which showed a yellow blanket which was covering the deceased in this accident. V-2 WAS EAST BOUND ON SR 44 IN THE OUTSIDE LANE. V-1 WAS ON SR44 IN
THE WEST BOUND LEFT TURN LANE. V-1 MADE A LEFT TURN AND VIOLATED THE
RIGHT OF WAY OF V-2. V-2 STRUCK V-1 ON THE RIGHT SIDE WITH THE FRONT
OF V-2. V-1 AND V-2 VEERED TO THE RIGHT AND BOTH VEHICLES CAME TO
FINAL REST ON THE SOUTH SHOULDER OF SR 44. D-1 WAS PRONOUNCED
DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY VOLUSIA COUNTY EMS.

June 11, 2008 A person who identified him/herself as a cousin of the 15 yr. old girl who was seriously injured in the accident in New Smyrna Beach , Fl. today wrote a comment on You Tube,
http://www.youtube and stated that the family has decided to discontinue life support of the young girl.

JUNE 9, 2008, ROLL OVER ACCIDENT IN NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL. jJeep going west bound rt 44 near airport road new smyrna beach florida struck a car in the right rear and then the jeep continued over into the east bound lanes of rt 44, rolling over , ejecting the the passenger who had severe head trauma and was airlifted to the hospital by helicopter vcso air one. east bound traffic on rt. 44 was detoured for about one and a half hours. I feel very sorry for families
and friends
associated with this tragedy, but as we try to forget and not be reminded of this horrible event, I hope we can all learn something from this accident, and go forth with life, having learned something for ourselves, our families and our friends.
I understand your sensitivity to
seeing
images and video of the accident
seen,
and on your behalf, I am removing the video of the accident scene from You Tube.
I would like to point out that
no images or video of Kara had been posted, and one
segment viewing Christopher being attending to by our excellent paramedics, did not show his face.
Thank you for expressing your
concern to me, and I hope that your family and friends, can
find ways to suppress their anger and alleviate the
depression which accompanies these kind of sudden family
deaths. This too shall pass.

brother Christopher and his girlfriend Kara. You have no
idea what my family has been through in the past few mths.
Posting this is a total disgrace to all parties involved.
Seems to me that you are one of the most heartless people
known to this earth and need serious mental help. If all
you have to do with your time is post things of this
nature mabe you should look into another hobbie. I would
stongly suggest you delete this video and all others
involving this matter from youtube.

I removed it from you tube,
but I did not remove the story and digital still images
from Port Orange Images.
She apparently does not know
that I have dedicated my life to prevent such horrible
accidents and to help those who
are involved in them. I see no good in not showing people for educational purposes the outcome of bad driving or not putting your seat belt on.
In such incidents as this
one involving a 20 yr. old with a girl friend of 15,
there might be resentment between families, and not
showing the scene and devastation where
the 20 year old was driving, might be a way of defending the driver. We all make mistakes, especially in our youth.
I still make mistakes, and I
can have an accident, but
really hope that I will have my seat belt on, and am not involved in careless driving or speeding. But, it happens. It is hard to get over when it does happen. I know full well, of the after effects to families when incident like these happen. But, I am not the bad guy. I bring the message, and have enforced the message, 'WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT, AND REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE IN A POSSIBLE DEADLY MACHINE". Be careful, and when you or love ones do have an accident, learn. It does not help to lash out with those who did not cause the accident or had anything to do with. I have been threatened with suits many times at the scenes of events when taking pictures. One mother of a son who went down on his motorcycle grabbed my camera and tried to rip it from me.
Probably, she should have
gotten mad at her son, for causing his own accident and
driving without a helmet.
But anger is not rational.
Don't get me mad! Lol - but
there is more to life than just an accident scene or
accident. There is coming to grips
with bad things that happens and what to do about them. Try to prevent them from happening in the future. An accident is public record and no faces were shown so what is the big deal? TO KEEP THE FACTS STRAIGHT, THERE IS NO LAW WHICH PROHIBITS ME FROM SHOWING FACES OF INDIVIDUALS WHEN SUCH IMAGES WERE TAKEN ON A PUBLIC STREET. when the Police are looking for help w/ Lic. # types of
Vehicles. She needs some education, street education you
know what I mean. If she had her Purse snatched she
would be screaming for help, maybe then she can get to
realize what you are doing. I like your type of
reporting because it reminds me of the old saying," if
you want to kill time try working it to death." keep up
the good job Sir. By the way another friend knowing I
worked a short time with the power company before going
to Ma Bell sent me pictures of a jerk climbing a high
line at a transformer type situation, and was about to
steel the copper wire for which he was electrocuted and
pictures were awful but there is a message there . Stay
the hell away from any hanging wire that you don't know
what you are doing.
