There were three occupants--a grandmother and her two
grandchildren (who were visiting). All got out safely--grandmother was
scene-treated for minor smoke inhalation. As of yet, no cause has been
identified, and the family has come in to assist the grandmother. There
was significant damage to the mobile home--I am waiting to hear from our
Fire Marshal on dollar loss. I will advise when I have an update.

Chief Weir, Fire Marshal for Port Orange Fire-Rescue has
deemed the fire electrical in nature--caused by an overloaded surge
protector that ignited the carpet behind the computer desk. The mobile
home is a total loss.
