I believe that tomorow you will have your meeting and Christmas party which
I am sure you will all enjoy.
I was wondering if perhaps you could read this to all the members. If it is
too much trouble then let it go:

To all the members of the Association of Former NYS Troopers of Long Island
:

It is with deep appreciation that on behalf of myself, my sons, Russell &
Paul and my grandchildren, Skyler, Dylan & Rachael that we thank you for the
beautiful floral display, the Trooper hat and banner, which Jerry provided.
I also thank him for the NYS Troopers escort car. The trooper was  sharply
dressed and very courteous. When he stopped traffic so we could make a left
into Calverton, he stood rigid and gave a very smart salute.
I wish to thank all those who visited and those who sent cards .
This is a difficult time for all of us, but we know Russ is on his final
patrol in a much better place.

With deepest regards,
Dorothea Carkhuff & Family  12 8 09
