===========================================
As your future President I want to thank my
supporters, for your mindless
support of me, despite
my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my
pastor's
relations with Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi,
or my blatantly
leftist voting record while
I present myself as some sort of
bi-partisan agent
of change.
I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal
behavior
somehow qualifies
me for the Presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush's youthful
drinking
disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of
political posing.
I would also like to thank the Kennedy's for coming out in support of
me. There's a
lot of glamour
behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War,
his brother
Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr. and Teddy killed a
female
employee with whom he was having an extra marital affair and who was
pregnant with his
child. And I'm not going anywhere near the cousins, both literally
and figuratively. And
I'd like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her
love of
meaningless empty
platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.
Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or
achievement,
but because I
make people feel good. Voting for me causes some white folk to feel
relieved of their
imagined, racist guilt. I say
things that sound meaningful, but don't
really mean
anything because Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things
have meaning,
then that means you have to think about them.
Americans are tired of thinking. It's
time to shut down the brain, and open up the
heart. So
when you go to vote in the primaries, remember don't think, just do. And
do it for
me.
Thank You.

Hussein Obama, Jr.

Immigration Agents = Nazi Gestapo?
Amnesty and open-borders advocates continue to
use vile and incendiary rhetoric to push their ignore-the-law
agenda. They have repeatedly compared the men and women who
enforce our immigration law—public servants and sworn agents
of the U.S. government—to Nazi Germany’s Gestapo.

FDA: Clueless on Salmonella Tomatoes
After a week of
fumbling and bumbling, the incompetent Food
and Drug Administration is apparently no
closer to locating the source of the
salmonella-tainted tomatoes that have
sickened hundreds of U.S. citizens—citizens
who ate those tomatoes believing that the
U.S. government was capable of carrying out
its most basic responsibility of keeping us
safe. The FDA hasn’t even sent inspectors to
a single farm because it has no idea where
to send them.

Lou’s Lobbying Challenge to McCain & Obama
They say you can’t buy the presidency. But
this has already been the most expensive presidential
campaign in U.S. history. And, as usual, much of that
money is coming from lobbyists. So Lou challenges Senators
Barack Obama and John McCain to put a stop to this
practice that ensures hardworking middle-class Americans
have no representation in Washington DC.
Lou’s Lobbying Challenge to Senator Barack
Obama and Senator John McCain: No lobbying by any member
of your administration for five years from the time they
end their service with the United States government.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP)
-- 1010 WINS and CNN's Lou Dobbs isn't talking about rumors that
he's thinking about running for governor of New Jersey.
Dobbs, who lives on a 300-acre farm in Sussex
County, told The Star-Ledger of Newark he's ``not going to
comment.''
State Republican chairman Tom Wilson tells the
newspaper the Dobbs' buzz is circulating among GOP officials and
fundraisers in New York City and Washington.
Wilson says the first thing Dobbs should do is
register as a Republican. The newsman switched from the GOP to
an independent in 2006.
Dobbs gained fame hosting "Moneyline" on CNN

SOME COMMENTS
AND OBSERVATIONS
BY POI
HANK
====================================
(Washington, DC) - Tom Feeney (R-Oviedo) today expressed
his
outright frustration with both parties ..
-- SEE PRESS RELEASE
FOLLOWING THIS SECTION.
-------------------------------------------
More and
more people are getting their heads out of the sand
and
acknowledging that both major political parties are
working
for themselves and their benefactors
rather
than for the people.
For
those who would like to see patriotism,
just
think about all the anti American deals going
on in
congress and the senate.
Obama
has taken a significant first step
to
getting congress to listen to us
and not
the lobbyists. I applaud him for directing
the DNC
to not accept campaign donations
from
lobbyists. In the past we have seen
direction towards reform which had loop holes
built
in, so we should let the fishing line out
and see
if Obama follows through with
the kind
of reforms we all want,
but
those in congress do not.
Hopeful
as we are about Obama,
(I still
hold reservations)
we have
seen promises made in the past
and then
conveniently put aside
when
congress balks at
carrying
out reform .
In the
case of lobbyists,
we have
to contend with
the
academic theory
that
lobbyists have a
constitutional right to support
the
candidate of their choice.
I say
that it is true,
but they
can do that through
their
own self paid adds
and
events.
Let's
hope,
but be
skeptical.

More Critical Infrastructure Up For Sale
Foreign investors are again
trying to buy up parts of this country’s critical
infrastructure. The latest case involves the purchase of CSX
railroad, which stretches 21,000 miles across 23 states,
connecting 13 military bases, 70 ports shipping military
equipment, and nuclear sites.
The shadowy
foreign hedge fund involved in the deal won’t even reveal its
investors, which could include hostile countries. But it has a
warm fuzzy name—the Children’s Investment Fund—so it couldn’t
possibly be a national security threat, right?

President Bush Celebrates $100 Million Porker for Institute of
Peace &
Speaker Pelosi Passes Largest Tax Increase in American History
Feeney Urges
Both Parties to Get their Heads out of the Sand
(Washington, DC) - Tom Feeney
(R-Oviedo) today expressed his outright frustration with both
parties as President Bush attends a groundbreaking ceremony for
a $100 million earmark for the U.S. Institute of Peace. This
porker was slipped into a spending bill without a sponsor name
and without debate. Meanwhile, Speaker Pelosi passed the
largest tax increase in American history as hardworking
middle-class families face pain at the pump.
Floridians will
face, on average, a $3,040 tax increase – at minimum.
"Leaders from both parties today once again proved how out of
touch they are with hardworking middle-class families. As
President Bush attends a ceremony for a $100 million porker for
the Institute for Peace, American taxpayers are crying out for
transparency in their government. As Speaker Pelosi passes the
largest tax increase in American history, struggling families
rebalance their budgets as they continue to face pain at the
pump.
"Only in
Washington would bureaucrats spend $100 million to build a
ridiculous U.S. Institute of Peace and pass the largest tax
increase in American history while Florida families are
struggling. Both parties need to pull their heads out the sand
and listen to the cries from hardworking Americans,"
said Feeney.
The $100 million earmark was
included in 2004 in the omnibus spending bill. According to the
website, the headquarters facility, "will consist of a
training center for professional conflict managers, conference
space for public and private meetings, office space for USIP
staff, and the 20,000 square foot Public Education Center. The
PEC will use state-of-the art multimedia exhibits and hands-on
exercises to highlight the challenges of contemporary
international conflict and techniques for their management by
peaceful means."
The Democrats’ fiscally
irresponsible budget includes a massive, broad-based,
job-killing $683 billion tax increase. For instance, a family of
four with two children that earns $50,000 annually would have to
pay an additional $2,155 in taxes under the Democrat plan. This
represents a 191
percent increase in that family’s tax bill.
Additionally expect to see:
·
The return of the marriage penalty,
so that some married couples pay more taxes than if they had
filed separately as singles;
·
Parents lose out, as the child tax
credit is cut in half;
·
A dramatic reduction of tax
incentives for small businesses;
·
And
higher tax rates on seniors
and working Americans investing for the future.
Investor’s Business Daily, 6/4/08: “Make no mistake: This tax
hike is gargantuan. … On average, 116 million taxpayers will see
a jump of $1,800 in their annual tax bill. Some 48 million
married couples - the heart of the middle class that Democrats
say they want to help - will be slapped with an average increase
of $3,007. Even the elderly will take a hit - $2,181 on average.
… Quite a week's work for one Congress.”

Americans Falling Behind on Utilities
Updated May 12th, 2008
As the current economic downturn worsens, more and
more middle class Americans simply can’t pay their
utility bills. In California, nearly 2 million
families have fallen behind on utility payments.
Pennsylvania’s delinquencies are up 30 percent.
Altogether, 15 million household now owe about $5
billion in unpaid utility bills. Utility companies
are threatening to cut their services—and the
problem is likely to get worse in the weeks and
months to come.

Monday, April 7, 2008
Tonight, we’ll have complete coverage of Clinton campaign chief
Mark Penn’s departure following reports that he lobbied on
behalf of the Colombian government for a free trade agreement
that Clinton opposes.
And President Bush was pushing that same trade agreement today.
We’ll have the latest on this country’s faith-based trade
policy. Plus:
* The Bush administration has handed a victory to business
special interest groups looking to hire cheap foreign labor
instead of American workers. A new policy allows foreign
students with a technology background to stay in the United
States for up to 29 months rather than 12—greatly increasing
the odds they will receive H-1B guest worker visas.
* Critics of the communist Chinese regime continue to make
their voices heard in protests along the Olympic torch
route—pointing out the regime’s disregard for human rights in
Tibet, its support for the Sudanese government responsible for
Darfur and its oppression of free thought and expression in
mainland China. We’ll have the details on protests in Paris,
San Francisco and more.
* The number of legal immigrants that became U.S. citizens last
year dropped 17% due mainly to federal administrative problems.
Last year the Citizenship and Immigration Service received a
flood of citizenship applications ahead of a drastic fee
increase and the agency simply does not have the resources to
process the applications in a timely fashion.
* Absolut Vodka ran an ad in Mexican publications showing a
redrawn map of the Mexico incorporating Arizona, California,
and other southern states. Absolut has pulled the ad in
response to the criticism. We’ll have a report on the outrage
over the ad.
Lou’s new radio program, the Lou Dobbs Show, debuted last

The public and private players involved in JP Morgan Chase’s
government-backed bailout of Bear Stearns were on Capitol Hill
today.
Skeptical lawmakers demanded answers about the necessity of
using $30 billion of taxpayer money to bail out a failing bank
while million of struggling homeowners are fighting the hard
fight to keep their homes. We’ll have that story, plus:
* The National Chamber of Commerce is appealing the Arizona law
punishing employers who hire illegal aliens. Their claim:
States have no business passing laws based on federal
immigration law. We’ll have a full report.
* A former software engineer in Chicago has been indicted for
attempting to steal massive amounts of information from a major
telecommunications company and pass the secrets to communist
China. We’ll take a look at this latest case of Chinese
espionage against the U.S.
* Open-borders and amnesty groups are out in full force this
week ahead of the May 1 protests that have historically been
staged by masses of illegal aliens and their supporters.
Protests are planned in Los Angeles and Arizona. And San
Francisco will launch an ad campaign touting its status as a
sanctuary city.

Lou Dobbs Tonight
Friday, March 28, 2008
Tonight, Barack Obama got a key endorsement from Sen. Bob
Casey
of Pennsylvania, where Obama is polling far behind Hillary
Clinton. Meanwhile the Democratic candidates continue to tear
each other down.
Is there any end in sight? We’ll have all the latest on the
campaign. Plus:
* American consumers are getting hit with higher food prices
every week. The high proportion of imported food—incorporating
price rises overseas and fuel costs—is one problem. So is
rapid
inflation in grain prices here at home. We’ll take a look at
the causes of rapid food inflation, and whether the United
States government is bothering to do anything about it.
* Suffern, New York is the latest example of a community tired
of just accepting the impact of illegal immigration. The
police
there are seeking authority to cooperate with federal
immigration authorities. Kansas is on the verge of passing
tough new laws aimed at illegal immigration and in Rhode
Island, the governor has just signed an executive order
ordering the police and parole officers to work to find
illegal
aliens in their jails and turn them over to federal agents.
* And in our weekly tribute to the men and women who serve our
nation in uniform, we’ll have the story of Sgt. Omar
Hernandez.
Hernandez came to the United States from Mexico with his
family
when he was just six months old. At 19, he joined the army to
serve his adopted country. On his third tour in Iraq,
Hernandez’ patrol came under fire; injured, he risked his own
life to rescue two members of the Iraqi National Police from
imminent danger. He was awarded the Silver Star.

Tonight, escalating violence in Iraq—a three day battle between
Iraqi forces an radical Shiite leader Moktada al-Sadr’s Mahdi
Army rages on, while protesters have taken to the streets in
Baghdad.
There have also been repeated attacks in the heavily-protected
“green zone.” President Bush insists that the Iraqi government
is carrying on “a revolutionary undertaking that requires great
courage.” We’ll have the latest on the war. Plus:
* Another day, another batch of grounded airplanes due to
safety concerns. United, Southwest, American and Delta have all
announced the grounding of planes and canceling of flights. But
why aren’t planes being properly inspected in the first place?
To save money on maintenance as carriers fight to balance their
finances? Or is it a case of sloppy work being done by
outsourced contractors?
* New questions are arising this week about the Air Force
decision to award a foreign company a key $35 billion defense
contract. The General Accounting Office has until June 19 to
report back to Congress on the botched deal. And key senators
are saying the deal will cost taxpayers far more than the

the campaign trail, plus:
* The same corporate interests who so viciously fought the
Sarbanes-Oxley financial reforms after the last round corporate
scandals are now decrying potential new regulation in the wake
of the housing and credit market crises. Of course, if
regulators had done their job in the first place and the banks
and lenders were properly policed, the subprime crisis would
never have happened.
* The Washington DC police department is launching a campaign
to get illegal handguns off the streets. Unlike programs in
other cities that ask people to voluntarily turn in illegal
guns, the DC police want to search peoples’ homes. They won’t
kick down any doors but they will knock on the door and ask
residents if they would like their home searched. The ACLU is
opposing the campaign.
* First the State Department got in trouble over contractors
who illegally accessed the presidential candidates’ passport
records. Now a former foreign service officer is saying that
fully half of this nation’s illegal immigrant problem is
connected to problems State’s visa operation. He says visas are
issued after just 90 second interviews, and the department

Tonight, we’ll have the latest on the floods devastating
sections of the Midwest and all the latest from the campaign
trail. Plus:
* America has always been the land of opportunity and education
the great equalizer. But as the economic gap between the
classes continues to grow and the cost of education soars, do
those things still hold true? Academic experts and advisors to
the front-running presidential candidates met today to discuss
that issue as part of the Brookings Institution’s Economic
Mobility project.
* The deadline for high tech companies apply for H-1B visas is
April 1st. The process has been a frenzy in recent years, and
the Customs and Immigration Service is trying to crack down on
companies gaming the system by submitting duplicate
applications.
* Private sector employment is tanking. Private employers cut
100,000 jobs in January alone. The only place that jobs are
growing is in government. But the Bush administration hasn’t
strayed from its “strong economy” talking points.
* Is the economic downturn driving illegal immigrants out of
this country? Border apprehensions of illegal immigrants are
down; growth of remittances to Mexico has slowed; and anecdotal
evidence suggests that some Mexican citizens living in the
United States are returning home due to the weak economy and
stricter enforcement efforts.

Lou Dobbs Tonight
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
President Bush said today that critics of the Iraq war no
longer have any basis for claiming that the U.S. is not
winning. We’ll have a closer look on the fifth anniversary of
the wary.
We’ll also have the latest from the campaign trail, and:
* California, like many other states, is facing a massive
budget shortfall. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s budget reform
calls for slashing spending 10 percent across the board,
including $4.8 billion in education cuts. A look tonight at how
the federal government’s unwillingness to secure the border
with Mexico has let illegal immigration put a drastic drain on
California’s economy.
* Conventional economic wisdom holds that war is a giant
